Great new book inspired by Bulgarian Folklore and Mythology

“The Unborn Hero of Dragon Village, a book by Nelly Tonchev and Robin Florence (aka Ronesa Aveela) is available in Bulgarian now.
Amazon Universal link (paperback): http://getbook.at/zmeykovo

Dragon Village is the first of a series of middle school fantasies set in modern-day Bulgaria. It will appeal to fans of mythology, such as Rick Riordan’s “Percy Jackson” series and Erin E. Moulton’s “Keeper of the Labyrinth.” The book was inspired by the rich Bulgarian mythology and folklore.

Why the book is called Zmeykovo (Dragon Village)?

Dragon Village is known as Zmeykovo in Bulgarian folklore. This is the place where all mystical creatures live during the winter, only to return to the human world in the spring. Dragon Village book brings to life the creatures who live there and give readers a look at a mythology and culture the Western world is not familiar with. The goal is to make people aware of a culture rich with traditions that date back thousands of years to the ancient Thracians who inhabited parts of Bulgaria, Greece, and other Slavic nations.
